Make-up - organic, not tested on animals, environmentally minded, dermatologist-testedI'm wondering what others would recommend make-up wise and would like to hear about what brands people are happy with using.I have come up with some criteria to use while investigating make-up brands:
At the moment, I'm predominantly using Inika cosmetics and I'm quite happy with them. My skin doesn't flair up, it's not greasy and I've never been sunburnt on my face while wearing it. I use the liquid foundation, the pressed powder and the concealer daily.
Inika's website states that they use 100% natural products and their range is "completely free of synthetics". Inika also claims to be the "highest certified beauty brand in the worldwide". They do not test on animals and 90% of their packaging is made from sustainable and reusable materials. The company is working with organisations to collect and repurpose plastic waste. These things are what drew me to the brand in the first place.
I began by purchasing their "Face in a Box". You are not able to purchase this from the Inika website anymore, but you can find it on Amazon (https://amzn.to/48vp2Oa). It is a great way to try the products and is a fantastic gift for a teenager just starting out with make-up.
What brands do you use and why have you chosen to support them?
